Who is this man?
Ezequiel Tovar has been otherworldly at the plate recently. The Rockies’ SS has not only cemented himself as the best hitter in their lineup, but after his recent form, he might earn himself a spot in this year’s upcoming All Star Game.
Let’s talk about the numbers. In Tovar’s last 14 games, he has posted a .432/.457/.789 slash line with a 1.246 OPS coupled with 6 HR and 23 RBI.
One can only ask the question how much of this is a result of playing in Coors Field. Only time will tell, but for now, it’s been a pleasure to watch him step up to the plate.
