Chicago White Sox:

Call me crazy, but the Pope might of saved the White Sox.

Chicago has been a disaster for the past couple of years but suddenly their is a tiny, tiny, tiny slither of hope.

To the surprise of everyone, they signed one of the biggest superstars coming over from Japan in Munetaka Murakami and their top-prospect Colson Montgomery features to be their every-day 2B. With last year’s emergence from Miguel Vargas and the addition of quirky Luis Angel Acuña, this teams finds themselves in what could be a very fun year.

Although they parted ways with Luis Robert Jr., his absence won’t be felt as much considering he missed 52 games, and in the games he did play in he only posted a .223/.297/.364 stat-line coupled with a measly 14 HR tally.

On the pitching side, Shane Smith aims to bounce back from an up and down 2025 campaign and the expected arrival of top-prospect Drew Thorpe show signs that this team is a couple years away from escaping Baseball Hell.

Milwaukee Brewers:

Where do I even begin to describe the dreadful and abominable Milwaukee Brewers?

After securing the best overall record and defeating their biggest rivals in the NLDS, the team looked dreadful when they got steamed-rolled by the Dodgers in the NLCS.

How did they respond? Well, they traded away their ace Freddy Peralta to the Mets, their best player during that awful NLCS Conor Durbin to the Red Sox and signing none other than Gary Sanchez. Yes, that Gary Sanchez.

This team deserves more criticism when discussing the current state of baseball amid speculation regarding the expiration of the current CBA. The Brewers are a disgrace and ownership should be ashamed of how they handle their organization.

Prediction: CWS 2-1
