About the Author

BaseBlog is created and run by Sebastian Vizcaino, a marketing and finance student at San Diego State University with professional experience working with the San Diego Padres.

Having spent time around a Major League organization, Sebastian developed a deeper appreciation for the strategy, analytics, and day-to-day operations that shape the modern game. That experience, combined with a lifelong passion for baseball, inspired the creation of BaseBlog as a platform to analyze the sport from both a fan and industry perspective.

His long-term goal is to work as a sports agent, representing professional baseball players and helping guide their careers.
